Having spent a lot of time in the Eastern Sierras, I've developed a love and fascination of Granite. The way it adds texture and contrast to a scene is remarkable! The coarse-grained texture can vary in color and adds life to an otherwise dull scenery. This scene is the peak fall at North Lake, Eastern Sierra Nevada.
