Wind swift sand drifts into the horizon in Mesquite Dunes, Death Valley National Park. I waited for the right light on this particular scene... I was already in place before dawn, tripod and camera in place. I took a few snap shots but the contrast were bland and uninspiring. A few minutes after Sunrise, however, illuminated the dunes and generated the scene you see here.
